Caterina has over 25 years knowledge and skills from within the Tourism business Industries, retail sales management, HR training and entrepreneurship. She provides leadership coaching and mentorship for new entrepreneurs, business owners, managers in retail, hospitality and events. With her own experiences and skills in business ownership, manufacturing, product and services development, retail management and tourism adventure industries she consistently increased revenues. Caterina is the founder, organizer and initiator of the following community events in tourism; Sea to Sky Winter Farmers Market, Week of Peace in Whistler and the Cultural Food and Art Celebrations. With the creation of these events she opened the door and provided a pathway for neighbouring communities to create similar initiatives!
Caterina has developed a way for locally grown products, grassroots entrepreneurship and community initiatives to grow into successful adventures. She owned and developed the manufacturing company, Reckwear and the tourism eco-adventure company, Advanced Movement, both these companies met the needs of the Winter and Summer sport enthusiast. Our stories are really important. I have helped to strengthen and brighten the image of many other businesses through their stories. It has been a part of my job to build and share the stories of great business brands. These stories are what solidify the authenticity of a product, its history and uniqueness, and the meaning and purpose behind each product.
I hold a love for others to succeed and I see potential and opportunities. I have enjoyed a very diverse work life, entrepreneurship, retail management, wholesale business ownership, Producer of grass root initiatives, events and festivals in tourism. Along the way it has not been easy, and I have seen and experienced many barriers placed in front of new ideas.
