Focus on a Priority – Just on the Horizon

BALANCE is when we are paying attention to making all of life’s constant adjustments in a world that is more demanding of us than ever!  Imagining ourselves on that tight rope, juggling many objects, expectations and demands of today’s busy work/life situations, then focus on a priority just on the horizon -  here we will find balance.

That priority might just be to stop everything and take a break or slow down and take a breath.  When  we take some time without pressure and step away from the situation we  can find some balance and the solutions.

If we are losing our balance, first we may want to check on our important priorities, we may need to ask ourselves what is distracting us and what have we placed on the back burner that needs our attention?  A check list on what those priorities are in the moment is important, as life and work changes over time so do our priorities.

What is it that throws us off balance and what can we do when we are at the tipping point?  First lets look at the inner balance, our feminine and masculine, our yin and yang… are we feeling in balance here?   Today many parents are having to understand this fine balance as they must take on both roles to raise their children.  When life and work gets too busy and stressful, we may find ourselves to be more competitive, aggressive and easily frustrated.  It is even more important as a parent to have the balance of our priorities in check!  So on our feminine side what nourishment, nurturing, tenderness and compassion are we missing? Have we been giving so much that we are depleted and lost this precious energy that is necessary to replenish ourselves?

Studies show us that the right side of our brains is our creative and intuitive side (feminine) and the left side is more linear and logical, (masculine) in the world of business we will often see that many people are working predominantly from one side of the brain than the other.  When we are more in balance we will notice that we will feel more confident, calm and clear in the choices we make.   Sometimes we just need to recognize and appreciate the qualities of both to sort out existing conflicts within to balance our feminine and masculine qualities.

What are your most important priorities that need to be at the top of the list today?  Remember right here, right now is the best time to get started… we assist in empowering you to create a calm and balanced path!

SPIRIT MATTERS

BUILDING OUR DREAMS is assisted when we can incorporate higher forces into our lives.  A few days ago I went for a lovely walk along the lakeside to show a young visiting student how the beaver builds his dreams in beautiful BC., Canada.  I love to learn from nature so I hope you will take the time to visit with me in this little story with a curious and keen sense of interest.  The photo is of a very large beaver dam at the lakes edge, beavers can teach us many things as they are the builders in the animal world.

There are many ways to learn, although you might be asking what can the beaver teach us?  First and foremost the beaver has a strong sense of family and they work very hard to provide and protect what is considered the most precious of life.   They build great architectural structures and works of art, such an amazing creation in nature needs to be recognized and acknowledged, here is where they teach us to develop our inner power gained in the sense of achievement attained in the work.

They remind us of the teamwork that is needed to achieve our goals and the harmony created in the collaborations of the group thinking.   In the group we must welcome and appreciate the gifts and talents each person brings and how it fits into the plan.  This is a guide to understanding how we can find an important way to nurture a sense of community in our lives.  Beavers remind us to love and protect the flow of what we put our energy into, keeping open to other options and opportunities.

When our business or personal situations take a down turn, we may feel all doors are closed and there are no alternative routes and the flow is dammed up.   If this happens I am here to remind you there are ways to cultivate and appeal to the higher forces in our lives, connecting at a deeper level and incorporating spirit into our work.   Here we may retrieve our business, improve our situations, survive and thrive at another level and find a workable union.

SPIRIT OF OUR TIMES!

Time has taken on a different meaning today.  Time is money and this changes everything we do and how we think.  If time is valued in this way there is no spirit in the way we spend our time.  If there is no spirit in the way we spend our time then there is no love of how we spend our time.

Time takes on a different texture and we therefore have forgotten the essence of the very meaning of life.  The essence of life is love and the ability to see the beauty in every moment and being in harmony with each passage of time.  If every moment is valued with a dollar sign we have begun to deeply lose the joy of life.  When we can see this difficult situation as the true culprit that it is we may begin to reverse the effects of time value on our humanity.  Spirit comes from our ability to connect with ourselves in a loving manner to pass this love on to others is the connection which cultivates our inner power and peace in our hearts.

When we go back to center the spirit can be found strong and healthy.  There has never been another time in history where the spirit is more depleted, more degraded, more disrespected and more extinguished and less interested in cultivating peace in our lives than ever before.

Even our curiosity needs time to be fed by what sparks the senses of wonder, what is time, when time it is spent on things that distract us from the natural state of curiosity and even the intention to connect with others beyond the immediate.  If we lose this connection of the true value of time, the world is a very frightening place.  Yes we are filled with fear and the insecurities of the lack of value of time.  If we value time as the precious moments that they are we can begin to live in a constant state of joy.  The world has forgotten this joy and it is quite simply available when time is slowed down and breathed in as a freshness of nature. We take everything from nature without return.  We value very little of life’s simplest of treasures and greatest achievements.  Life has changed so much as we move farther away from the beauty of nature.  We lose touch with ourselves and have become only a commodity to the largest buyer.

The old phrase “time will tell” once meant much more before, we truly valued time for what it had to tell rather than what it had to sell.  Love is only a doorstep away from where we are now and where we want to be.  To walk through that door it takes courage and the time to follow one’s heart.

If the heart no longer knows what time it is and where to go and all paths lead away from the true source of light as the joy has fallen away to the driven ticking on the clock.

Where do we go from here seems like a mystery to many as we suffer with unhappiness and the ever yearning for love and joy.  Around the corner we search constantly for life’s fulfillment, an empty vessel we have become as we have sold ourselves to the everlasting human weaknesses and the cravings of greed.  It is simple yet we have woven a very complex web that wraps itself tight around the throats of each of us as we find ourselves taking short and shallow breaths, choking the life from our very souls.  If you really want to know love, surrender and let go of all attachments to time and stand in faith.

Who sees our true value when they speed by and how many relationships and situations have there been when you felt completely devalued?

Countless!

It’s Okay, slow down so you can take the time to see how valuable you are!

In the Renaissance period one was honoured for their ability to tune into the very essence of time to create great works of art and literature in rhythm with nature’s cycles and the movements of life.  Connecting with nature in such a manner to give rise to the great gifts of art similar to the beauty found in nature itself.  Few of us walk this path today in tempo with our own inner clocks, life is speeding by in a blur – friends and neighbors’ have little time for each other.

Even when we sit still we find ourselves in a struggle to tune into the pace of the nature around us.  As we do not have time to make time we become too busy spending time on exchanging time for money.

When we lose touch with spirit the quality of time spent loses value, therefore the end product or work accomplished is of a lesser quality.  A work of art or the art of work is then defined in a way that bleeds the ink from the pen.  In other words the art loses life in the work.  The beauty of the whole is impaired in the work of art or the art of the work.

A love for everything seems impossible when we are disconnected to the very essence of life.  Our spirits wander aimlessly, seeking for guidance back home.

Spirit is clear, buoyant, vibrant, fresh and full, it is the very essence of joy.  What are we to do when our cups are empty of this elixir?  How do we be in spirit and find the inspiration and balance in today’s busy world?

We need a romantic inspiration, to fall in love with the beauty around us.  We must seek for it in every moment and everything.  Nature is a source that reflects all answers for us here we can find kindness, gentleness, peace and the beauty in all things.  Everything in nature defines everything in life, connections, harmony, order, cycles and the evolution of love.   We are in an interesting time today where we have quite the dilemma, there are many things chipping away at our spirits and the art of our being.  There are conflicts of interest, mistrust, resentment, unethical chaos, dishonesty and the list goes on.

The spirit of our times is one of shallow roots and the disbursements of family values and structures.

This leaves us in a confusing and unbalanced state of being and in order to rectify this it will take tremendous leadership and deep connections to spirit.  Spirit needs time and time needs spirit.

If we take a large wooden spoon and stir it in the air around us and gather up all the anxious energy spent on our misused value of time, we would fall into a deep and nourishing sleep.  When we awaken we may feel the fondness and a place within connected to the joy of spirit.  It is within this process that we appreciate each other in the never ending flow of life.  We must return to our origin of love so time is everlasting in a beauty that our children recognize within themselves. Time is something that continues, it is endless and circular, releasing us of insecurities of loneliness, death.  This way we can all love fully at peace and in faith of this knowing. Today, time is short, expensive and filled with the rumors of tomorrow’s burdens.

The joy of spirit is filled with a lesser quality of life, one that knows only of fear and find’s joy today in short bursts of false pretense.  Today we do not know of our true nature or cultivate a culture of intelligence as we have lost the true spirit of love and therefore have driven the planet into a desperate search for balance.   Have we created so many distractions people no longer see past the flickering chaotic world of advertising?  Everything today is disposable, dispensable, products and people too. The universe knows what you do and it collects all energy good and bad.  Whichever outweighs the other dominates the area, the home, community, etc., that’s why we need deep cleansing, there are ways to cleanse the souls, but these rituals are no longer exercised.  Therefore the health of the individual is suffering and the world suffers with them.  Spirit soars when it is in the light of our divine essence in this space our spirits radiate for all to connect and transcend our sacred selves.

Can you see yourself in the eyes of another?

Only unconditionally shall we remember our spirit and when we call unto thee we see the face of our universal love.
